GẸDÚ-OROKI ROAD: A PROMISE KEPT
The newly reconstructed 5km Gedu-Oroki road by Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration is a promise kept to the people of Oyo.
At the inception of the current administration in the state, the governor made promises to turn around the infrastructural development of the state where no zone will be left out. Without mincing words, the completion of the 5km road points to the fact that the governor is a promise keeper for not neglecting the road in a state of disrepair. Given the strategic importance of the road to the socio-economic activities of Oyo town, the road project has brought a new lease of life to users of the road within Oyo and its environs.
Oyo Global Forum on this note extend a profound appreciation to Engr. Seyi Makinde led government for another laudable achievement in the area of infrastructure in Oyo Federal Constituency. Oyo has indeed gotten a fair deal under his government as far as infrastructural development is concerned.
Worthy of commendation is also the project contractor; Ahmak Engineering Ltd led by Engr. A.K Amodu who ensured the delivery of the road project meets international best standards. We appreciate the contractor for putting tax payers money to good use by ensuring the project gets completed on time and to standard quality.
In addition, we urge the state governor; Engr.
